iR Universal Remote Control is a free and simple-to-use app for making your iPhone into a universal remote control for your home devices. It allows you to control a variety of devices with your iPhone, including your TV, DVD players, DVRs, cable boxes, audio equipment, high-end digital cameras, ceiling fans, air conditioners, and almost any other product that receives infrared signals.
It works in a similar way to remote control, with the exception that it does not need to be paired with a specific device.
